The TV is so small and is so far from the Bed. The compact hotel stands out immediately for its clean, well maintained exterior in its red light district location. We were surprised to discover its location in this sector - there was no indication on the reviews I read before booking.
The desk staff were helpful, spoke excellent English and made sure we knew breakfast times and location. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The room was quiet and we slept well in this central city location. Breakfast was freshly prepared and included a good variety with cereals, croissants, eggs, sausages etc. There were plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars close by so the absence of a fridge in the room was not a problem.
The bathroom basin was cracked but sound. One item for future guests to note is that even though ours was a non-smoking room, a strong smell of cigarette smoke seems to have permeated throughout the hotel including our room.
