Having recently visited Amsterdam , we enjoyed 'viewing' in the red light district. Is there a red light district, or similar, in Berlin??
There is certainly nothing like the windows of Amsterdam in Berlin. The same area is also a popular nightspot and is awash with bars and restaurants. Thanks for your answers, we'll possibly be avoiding the 'ladies of the night' but may sample the bars instead!!
Just got back and even was on Oranienburger Street, not much going on but alot of clubs and bars You may see a red light anywhere in the city and that may be what you're looking for But these places are not checked out by the chamber of commerce, so use good judgment. The website for the Berlin Tourist Office has an advertisement and link for an escort service. It is listed under "entertainment for adults". And I thought the Dutch were "progressive"!
La Folie is a club I have previously frequented kaiser-friedrichstr, charlottenberg , somwhere nice and warm to escape to in the early hours of a cold winter morning. Plenty to look at in there as you sit at the bar and drink your beer.
