Actually the A good queue developed 10 mins before the tour start. We were only English speakers so we're given The tunnels themselves stretch a good distance and are clean and safe. Unfortunately the commentary was all in Polish and we were given laminated sheets with an English translation. Sadly it was a bit dark to read and unsafe to walk whilst reading them with your phone torch. Could do with a headset with a translation.
The entry was 10 zloty per adult so wasn't exorbitant. Being an English speaker I found this a bit of a waste of time. The guide spoke only in Polish and the sheet of paper with the explanation on it wasn't easy to read in the dim light. The underground passages weren't all that riveting and the various models of the city at different points in history could easily be seen elsewhere.
Thought the museum at the castle better value and definitely more interesting. We were only English speakers so we're given a written guide as to what was going to be said.
It must have been humorous as folks chuckled on cue. We did learn about the town's history but really just wanted to explore. Apparently the route was developed by linking the original basements and cellars in three streets. There are plenty of steps up and down to navigate, so if mobility is a problem, avoid.
There are low arches so mind your head. The sound and light show at the end was really a pants Punch and Judy type show. Then you are taken back up to the street. Thirty five mins in total but 10 mins was the 'show'. The trail consists of several rooms with models of the city in several different ages and the guide explains the context of the specific model.
